Healthy Smoothie Recipe from Carrot, Grapefruit and Ginger

Smoothie, which speeds up the metabolism and provides a more efficient melting off excess fat in the body.

Preparation of the smoothie:

  • Peel the carrots and cut into rings
  • Peel the grapefruit, separate the slices and cut in half
  • With ginger root bark scrape, wash it and cut into pieces

Grapefruit Carrot Ginger Root Smoothie

Put all ingredients into blender, add 250 ml of water and mix all well, if necessary, add more water depends how much thick you want your healthy smoothie (I’ve added about 300 ml of water and I got a two big glasses of beautiful healthy smoothie).

Smoothie pours into glasses and serves if desired to sweeten with some sweetener (you can use a little brown sugar) but if you love grapefruit and its taste then you do not need to use any sweetener.

Ingredients:

  • 4 carrots
  • 1 grapefruit
  • about 5 cm of fresh ginger root
  • 1 cup (250 to 300 ml) of water
  • optional some sweetener
